I spent almost 20 years working in the Haitian community in South Florida; made a lot of friendships and work with a few Haitian organizations / groups. Even met and received promotional material (CD / Album) from some of Haiti''s Internationally famous recording artistes.

Actually thought I had a good idea of what life was like in Haiti.
Today I learnt how wrong my opinion was when I watched a video on YouTube titled "F*ck The Media, I Went To Haiti "!
The video was done by a guy who travels the globe doing stuff like this and it's must watch that I would recommend to anyone.

Parang festivities are about to start in Trinidad & Tobago in a few days. Yes, you read it right, even with all the pending turmoil off the shores of the twin island state. With the US amassing wars ships near the twin islands and seem poised to start a military operation against neighboring Venezuela.
In keeping with the tradition, of this upcoming festive season, Radio KYSO will be launching its parang programming schedule on Friday, November 7th and it's Christmas programming on November 15th. Hope you will be among our regular listeners.

🔥 Pan in yuh System! 🥁🎶 The TTPS Steel Orchestra lit up the St. Peter and St. Paul R.C. Church Harvest in Mayaro with a performance that had the crowd on their feet and hearts full of joy! From classics to Caribbean favourites, the sweet sound of steelpan echoed through the community and brought pure vibes to the celebration. The band delivered an energetic and polished set that reminded everyone why our steel orchestra is second to none! The response from the crowd? Absolutely electric! 💥🎉 Mayaro showed up and showed love, and we’re grateful for the warm welcome and the chance to share our music with you.
