The Fifth District Court of Appeal vacated an order from Brevard Circuit Judge Scott Blaue that held U.S. Rep. Randy Fine, R-Florida, "violated [the] basic requirement of civility, respect and sanity to the judicial process."
The appellate court's ruling, authored by Judge Adrian G. Soud and joined by Judge Brian D. Lambert and Judge James A. Edwards, did not weigh in on Fine's alleged behavior.
The Republican congressman wasn't the only one facing a contempt order from Judge Blaue.
In a Tuesday text to reporter Annie Mayne, Fine accused Blaue of being "an out-of-control judge," and said, "The ruling speaks for itself."
