This year, Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava and PortMiami showcased a winner of Miami-Dade Innovation Authority’s (MDIA) Public Innovation Challenge – GridMatrix’s AI computer vision that analyzes and tracks traffic congestion and WorkWise’s advanced robotic hygiene technology that supports seaport’s maintenance teams.

Together, these innovations have shown the commitment to more collaboration and innovation at PortMiami and Miami-Dade County Government.

PortMiami also wants to congratulate Miami International Airport for the unveiling of their AI-powered hologram chatbot, marking a global aviation milestone.

On Thursday, April 23, 2026, please be aware of road closures and detours on Biscayne Blvd. and Downtown Miami due to the Lexus Corporate Run beginning from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

PortMiami passengers and visitors are advised to use the PortMiami Tunnel during this time.

It was a pleasure to welcome Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami aboard the Norwegian Getaway for a special visit hosted by Norwegian Cruise Line ! 🚢

Students from Miami Northwestern Senior High School had a day full of learning, networking, exploration, and an overall unforgettable experience. In attendance were Miami-Dade County District 13 Commissioner Senator René García Miami Dade Commissioner District 13, Miami-Dade County Supervisor of Elections Alina Garcia, Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller of Miami-Dade County Juan Fernandez-Barquin, Esq. and PortMiami Director and CEO Hydi Webb.
