Some snapshots from this year’s 24 Hour Transit Triathlon! 🚶‍♀️🚴‍♂️🚝🚌💨

What a wild ride experiencing Miami’s transit options for 24 hours straight. We walked, we biked, we rode transit, all across Miami-Dade. We experienced routes and infrastructure that people depend on every day, and found gaps and barriers that make some transit experiences much harder than others.

It’s why we launched Streets for People, a campaign rooted in the belief that the missing pieces can be pinpointed, and real investment can be made to incrementally work towards a highly connected transportation system in our city.

⚠️ We want to heard from you! What are the gaps on the streets you use every day? These small fixes can make a massive difference in our quality of life in Miami-Dade.

📧 Send an email and video to [email protected] to show us what’s not working in your neighborhood by July 1st.

The City of Miami Bike Master Plan finally goes to a vote at City Hall tomorrow and we need to pack the room 🚲

🗓️ Thursday 5/28, 9am
📍 City Hall, 3500 Pan American Dr, Coconut Grove

This plan is finally closer than it’s ever been. and now we just need the Commission to vote YES and commit to getting it built by 2031. That only happens if they hear from us.

There are a few ways to help:
→ Show up tomorrow at City Hall at 9am
→ Call your commissioner before the vote and ask them to vote YES
→ forward this to a friend, neighbor, coworker, the more voices the better

We are sure many of you are already aware, this is our once-in-a-generation shot to make biking in Miami safe for everyone. Let’s get this plan passed, and built!
