David is a masterpiece of Renaissance sculpture created in marble between 1501 and 1504 by the Italian artist Michelangelo.

Did you know that Michelangelo’s most famous marble masterpiece, the Statue of David, was carved from a single block of marble that had been rejected by other artists?

The story symbolizes intelligence and courage triumphing over brute force.
Michelangelo depicts David before the battle, focused and alert, not after the victory, as earlier artists had done.
He is a rational and human hero, a symbol of the Renaissance man, master of his own destiny.

Antinous was a young Greek from Bithynia (in present-day Turkey) who lived in the 2nd century AD and is known for having been the companion and lover of the Roman emperor Hadrian.
Antinous became one of the most powerful symbols of the ideal of male beauty in the Greco-Roman world.

Last night’s Press and VIP opening of Spectrum was a fantastic start!
I met so many new art lovers, and I sincerely thank all the friends and clients who stopped by.

I just received these wonderful photos from a dear client who has collected several of my artworks, from Spectrum 2024 and over the past years.

There’s a special kind of joy an artist feels when seeing their creations welcomed into a home as beautiful as this one in Coral Gables.
