We are proud to announce that our Priority Processing Rural TEA Project, Cormont at Deer Valley, has officially received its I-956F approval from USCIS (April 29, 2026). This approval underscores the strength and scale of the Project, confirming that USCIS has reviewed and approved this additional offering for EB-5 compliance.
Cormont joins Texas Infrastructure Holdings (TIH), Long Cove, Teton Outing Club, Crazy Mountain Ranch and Yellowstone Club Village Core Phase II Fund #2 in the EB5 United portfolio, all Rural TEA Projects benefiting from Priority Processing and approved under the post-RIA framework.
Why this is great news for investors:
· Once a Project has received I-956F approval, USCIS has effectively settled the Project-level questions.
· From that point forward, individual I-526E adjudications focus on the investor's side of the file, and Source of Funds is the most consequential element.
About Cormont:
Cormont is a residential development located within Deer Valley East Village. Deer Valley is a mountain community in Utah, situated less than one hour from Salt Lake City International Airport.

Obtaining lawful Permanent Residency in the United States (a Green Card) is often evaluated as an immigration milestone. At the same time, it introduces ongoing obligations, particularly in areas such as taxation and regulatory compliance. No single factor is determinative, and outcomes depend on individual circumstances, regulatory requirements, and how different aspects of life in the United States are managed over time.
For many individuals who obtain Permanent Residency through the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program, including those who invest through a Regional Center, these considerations extend beyond immigration approval into long-term financial, tax, and lifestyle planning.
Nine dimensions of life after the Green Card:
• Foundation: Legal Status and Continuity
• Career & Business: Employment and Professional Flexibility
• Taxes: Tax Considerations
• Retirement Benefits: Social Security and Retirement Systems
• Schools & Universities: Education and Academic Access
• Coverage: Healthcare and Insurance
• Banking, Credit & Property: Financial System and Asset Ownership
• Rights & Civic Roles: Safety, Legal Protections, and Civic Structure
• Individual Reality: Variability of Experience

In FY 2025, the U.S. received registrations for 442,000 H-1B beneficiaries competing for just 85,000 available slots, making the selection rate approximately 26%. For Indian applicants, who made up nearly 70% of all H-1B beneficiaries, the odds remain challenging when factoring in over-subscription and duplicate entries flagged in audits.
For international students in the U.S. on F-1 visas, the typical post-graduation route is OPT (Optional Practical Training), which lasts 12 months, or up to 36 months for STEM graduates. But once OPT ends, students must obtain an H-1B visa to remain in the country.
Amid record demand for U.S. work and study visas, thousands of foreign nationals are finding that traditional immigration paths like H-1B and F-1/OPT are no longer reliable routes to Permanent Residency. With rising denial rates, shrinking lottery odds, and mounting Green Card backlogs, more immigrants are exploring alternative options like the EB-5 investor visa.
EB-5 Provides a Structurally Different Immigration Route
• Green Card Without Lottery or Employer Sponsorship
• Concurrent Filing and Work Authorization
• Reserved Visa Categories Still Current for India
• Priority Processing for Rural Projects
• Rising Indian EB-5 Filings

As per the Visa Bulletin (February 2026), Indian nationals face multi-decade waits in EB-2 and EB-3 categories.
Against this backdrop, EB-5 has emerged as a structurally different proposition for Indian investors. According to USCIS filing data analyzed by IIUSA, Indian-born EB-5 investors accounted for one of the fastest-growing shares of post-Reform and Integrity Act (RIA) filings, particularly in the Rural EB-5 Project category.
In some cases, Indian investors in Rural set-aside categories have received I-526E approvals in under 12 months based on post-RIA processing trends, although timelines vary and are not guaranteed.
Why EB-5 May Offer Faster Processing for Indian Investors post-RIA of ‘22?
• Investment in Rural EB-5 Projects - 20% of all EB-5 visas are reserved annually specifically for Rural investments
• Set-aside visas - 32% of EB-5 visas are now reserved annually across three categories: 20% for Rural EB-5 Projects, 10% for high-unemployment areas, and 2% for infrastructure investments
• Concurrent filing - Allows U.S.-based EB-5 investors to submit both the immigrant petition (Form I-526E) and the adjustment of status application (Form I-485) at the same time
• Priority USCIS Processing - Rural I-526E petitions benefit from Priority USCIS Processing, leading to significantly faster adjudication times

For decades, aspiring migrants to the U.S. have relied on student visas (F-1), work visas (H-1B) and family sponsorship. While these pathways remain widely used, they are increasingly shaped by uncertainty, changing policies, and outcomes that are often beyond an applicant’s control.
As global mobility patterns shift, more families are prioritizing predictability, long-term stability, and permanent status over temporary access.
In this context, the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program is being considered by some families as an alternative pathway to Permanent U.S. Residency without relying on lotteries or employer sponsorship.
Here are the core reasons why the EB-5 route is becoming more attractive than traditional non-immigrant pathways:
1. Direct Path to Permanent Residency
2. No Employer Sponsorship
3. No Lottery
4. Greater Autonomy and Flexibility
5. Family Inclusion and Stability

Since its inception in 1990, the EB-5 Program has offered a clear proposition: invest in a U.S. enterprise and pursue Permanent Residency for you and your family. Over the decades, thousands have successfully secured their Green Card through this pathway.
At its core, the EB-5 Program exists to stimulate U.S. economic growth by directing foreign capital into job-creating enterprises. To meet that goal, every EB-5 investment must satisfy strict legal, economic, and timing requirements. Navigating this framework without proper due diligence is one of the most common and costly mistakes investors make.
