Anyone familiar with Baba Yaga? I’m trying to branch out and practice with my painting skills. Figure I would try some cryptids since it adds a little fun to a simple landscape. Questions comments and critiques welcome.

Just realized I never posted the completed painting 😅 Happy it turned out better than expected. Still technically half way finished since theres two more in the series and a 3D element on each. Keep an eye out for the next one

Don’t let your passions become chores. Practice. Experiment. Keep doing what you love through pain, anxiety or depression. We are all artists and we can all heal through our work. Make things because you want to. For the gratification of bringing it to fruition and for no one but yourself.

All of our work will carry positives and negatives. I can see every success and flaw in this experiment but the important thing was I brought it to fruition. Ps I miss using oil paints

Progress. If you have something you love, something that makes you happy, make time for it. Success is subjective, money comes and goes, but the joy we get from doing what we love is euphoric.

What does the creative process look like to you?

I often get caught in the planning and design phase and rush to the finish. But not this time. I’ll be picking one of these in the next few days and begin picking my materials.

If anyone has any suggestions or thinks there’s a design I should pick message me I would love to hear what you think .🤔
