Simple ways to change your life. They seem basic but often times, the simplest of changes have the biggest ripple effects.
Which one resonates with you the most?
And if you could another one to the list, what would it be?
The real flex isn’t the weight.
It’s the impact.
It’s seeing people show up when they didn’t feel like it.
It’s watching confidence build over time.
It’s watching people break down the walls they’ve put up for themselves.
It’s creating a space where people feel pushed, loved, supported, and seen.
Anyone can train.
Not everyone can build a community.
Not everyone can build something that lasts.
That’s what this is about.
My first 10k Run 🏃🏻
This past Saturday I ran the doing the 10k run and it was also my first time ever doing a 10k! This one went down at the Opa Locka airport. The first one was at Tamiami and the last one (which I’m looking forward to) is going to be at Miami International Airport!
This was also the longest straight distance I’ve ever ran without stopping. When I run, it’s usually a 1-3 mile run or a mix of lifting running via Crossfit or Hyrox style training. This was easily the hardest run I’ve done which says a lot about me being a runner 😆 I had some people ask me why are you doing a 10k if you don’t run regularly? It’s going to be hard, to which I reply - you’ve never done something until you do it 🤷🏻♂️ just get up and go!
Bonus part was running into some friends who also ran and being able to celebrate each other for showing up for ourselves. No one is going to do hard things for you - YOU have to show up and show out. It also helps that they are fast so it motivated me to push in the moments I wanted to slow down. Shoutout to and for crushing their divisions!
Everything about the event was incredibly smooth, from layout to flow to the race itself and the post race awards and activities. Shoutout to and for a kick ass event!

I finally got a chance to jump into a class again with my lady 💪🏼 she’s waitlisted 95% of the time or teaches when I teach or have clients and when she subbed an evening class in Miami Beach, I had to sign up!
I don’t care what your fitness level is, the Pilates inspired reform or workouts always sneak up on you. It’s those little muscles you do focus on in your regular gym workouts. The 4 count in and out of a movement. The slow build burn going from body part to body part. And of course all of it working around the core whether directly or indirectly as you are on a moving platform.
It’s always fun to step out of my routine and mix in something different to the training program. Especially when it’s with 🫶🏼 and

This past Sunday, I hosted a class for Barry’s x New Balance where I go to pick a winner for a pair of the new NB Ellipse. I decided to spice things up with a challenge and used the top sprint, longest distance, and heaviest weights lifted. Everyone got a chance in round 1 and then a second chance on round 2. Needless to say, people were HYPED!
I witnessed some folks grab weights they’ve never touched before and some insane sprints (6% 16.2 anyone?) It was awesome to see people around the room cheering on the clients who were calling me over to make sure I saw their speeds.
Keep an eye out for the next Ellipse branded class! I will definitely do this again in the future when we run it back with another collab 😬 Sound off below if you think you can beat 6% 16.2 mph for 30 seconds!

Miami 2026
First time Doubles a/ first timer
3rd race overall
First time not dealing with some kind of injury
Much better 1k runs overall (shoutout to for pushing my pace)
1:26 finish - PR for me, previous 1:30
Next up, improve my run game and aiming for 1:15
Best overall HYROX experience I’ve had. Shout to to for cheering us on all race 🫶🏼 also a shoutout to .global .us .life for hooking it up w/ a T Rex Pro 3 for my race 🙌🏻 ON TO THE NEXT COMPETITION!
Miami went down this weekend in Miami Beach and boy was it a special one!
My third race but first time doing doubles and got to thrown down with my boy 💪🏼 he’s a pretty strong runner and kept my slow self pushing for faster laps (which was def needed) We finished up in 1:26 which is not too shabby for a first timer and a slow runner.
I’ve got to say the vibes were epic all day long. This was easily the busiest Hyrox I’ve seen in MIA.
I came out early to support friends and clients had a chance to stop by the .global booth to check out their new smartwatches with the dedicated Hyrox RACE mode which look incredibly sick! I actually gave their roll the dice game a try and lucked out 😬 and snagged myself a T-Rex 3 Pro 🙌🏻 it was cool to run my race and just be able to quick tap into each station without manually having to search for the different types of workouts. Game changer to also see where my HR in relation to the section of the race I was in with a detailed breakdown of after.
Seeing clients and friends push themselves like some did this weekend is inspiring and also gratifying. The human body is capable of so much, you just have to work for it. There is no greater feeling for me as a trainer and a friend than to help people see and push past their limiting beliefs. Also, I PRed and snagged a dope smartwatch for all my future fitness racing 🤘🏼Overall, it was wonderful experience this weekend!
Most people don’t struggle with wall balls at the end of the race because of the difficulty of the movement, they struggle because of run fatigue and their legs are blown up/super pumped which can compromise technique.
Dial this in:
– Full depth (hips below parallel) = real reps
– Keep chest tall so you’re not folding forward
– Catch the ball low (saves your legs)
– Use your breath: inhale down, exhale and explode up
– Aim for the same target every time — consistency wins races
Hyrox isn’t about one rep…
it’s about how efficient you stay at rep 75, 100, 150.
Clean reps. Controlled breathing. No wasted motion.
That’s how you separate yourself. Good luck this weekend!
