People wonder why they can’t advance. You’re so eager to do things the cheaper way not realizing you always get what you pay for. Pay cheap rent, live in a noisy neighborhood. Pay cheaper studio time, get a less advanced engineer that can’t solve problems quickly. Buy a used car, you may face car troubles quicker. Time is EVERYTHING! I say this to say, you will always end up having to pay. Paying less will most likely cost you more money in the end. INVESTING is a real thing. Yes, times are hard but, pick your hard. Some folks will get it, others won’t and will find out later that they could’ve saved themselves so much time if they took the initiative to pay to get better. Doing music and not having to work a 9-5 (there’s nothing wrong with that btw) is such a blessing. So many want that lifestyle but, don’t want to listen to get there. They rather be cheap and not risk what they need to gain that lifestyle. Then give up when it either gets hard or when it’s not working quick enough. This lifestyle takes Balls. Going in the negatives. Losing people. Losing sleep. Stress on stress. Until one day you look up and see, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. How bad do you want it. The ball is always in your court. But remember, one day we all got to hang out jerseys.

Camp 7 is now in the 📚 God is so great. Being able to give an unforgettable experience year after year is such a blessing. I want to thank everyone that took the risk to come and live with me for one week because you believed in yourself! I hope you all went home as better people and of course better creatives. Literally the last day I got a call out the blue, (My older brother passed) It’s crazy how life has a way of showing us things. The courage it takes to continue doing what I love while getting the news is so interesting to me. Airbnb canceling the 1st house that I booked for the camp and having to pivot quick and find another house the day before the first day. Flights getting cancelled. My jet ski not working for an hour in the middle of the ocean etc. God has bigger plans. I’m just here living them out. But, until next time…..✌🏾 Documentary dropping soon…!
