Refine your practice and expand your teaching through 10 hours of in-depth instruction with Kino MacGregor. This immersive training combines intelligent yoga drills across mobility, flexibility, strength training, conditioning, handstands, backbends, hip opening, and more. Grounded in a clear understanding of anatomy and biomechanics, you will learn how each movement pattern builds the specific capacities the body needs to progress safely and sustainably.
At the heart of this training is a single skill: learning to break down every asana into its component drills. When you understand the architecture of a posture, how the joints articulate, which muscles support the shape, and where stability and range are built, you can meet any body where it is. This is what makes the practice truly accessible and adaptable, whether you are working with a beginner, a seasoned practitioner, or your own evolving edge.
Open to dedicated students, teachers, and practitioners of all levels seeking to deepen their understanding of movement and the Ashtanga method.
Upon completing the 10 hours of instruction, you have the option to earn a Yoga Drills Accreditation at American Yoga Council. To be accredited, you will develop a 30 to 60 minute yoga drills class of your own design and teach your class live on Zoom through Omstars as a free community class, scheduled and offered to the global Omstars community. This gives you real teaching experience and a platform to share your work with practitioners around the world. Kino will personally review your class, offer feedback, and approve your accreditation.
Accreditation is optional. If you choose not to pursue it, you are welcome to complete the training for your own practice and growth. Only those seeking accreditation need to develop, submit, and teach a class.

The Art of Sensual Sovereignty Volume I: The First Movement With Jamaal Starks
First in a workshop series.
Sensual sovereignty is the capacity to read your own body accurately to know what you want, to feel when you’ve had enough, and to return to yourself without asking permission. It isn’t a mood or a mindset. It’s a literacy, and like any art, it lives in the body long before it makes sense to the mind.
Most of us were never taught to read our own instrument. We were taught to override it. To push through, to stay available, to treat exhaustion as a personal failure rather than information. This workshop teaches the opposite skill: how to take a reading, honor what it says, and refill from a source that was never metered in the first place.
WHAT STUDENTS LEAVE WITH
• A daily practice for taking their own reading before the day takes it for them
• The ability to recognize their own limit before they hit it
• A breath practice for returning to baseline when they’ve overspent
• A working understanding of how the whole cycle applies off the mat
• Language for what they’ve been feeling and couldn’t name

This class is the full Ashtanga experience. In a steady and dynamic pace postures are linked into a choreographed sequence that opens deeper dimensions in your mind-body-breath connection.
**This class is marked all levels, but it does contain a few advanced asanas. Students unfamiliar with these poses can observe and join back in when they feel comfortable.**
Stamina, strength and flexibility weaves into a full-bodied meditation, with minimal instruction, traditional Sanskrit counting and careful emphasis on Ashtanga’s original Vinyasa method.
In this class you will begin to get under the skin of the Ashtanga Yoga recipe! For the committed students, willing to embrace classic yoga’s surrender in the eye of the storm. Taught only by teachers qualified to pass on the integrity and purity of this ancient, Indian practice.

Most of us were never taught to read our own instrument. We were taught to override it. To push through, to stay available, to treat exhaustion as a personal failure rather than information. This workshop teaches the opposite skill: how to take a reading, honor what it says, and refill from a source that was never metered in the first place.
We do it through movement, because movement is where the body tells the truth fastest. You will practice this in real time, on the mat, in your own body.
Not as theory, but as something you will have already done by the time you leave the room.
No yoga background required. You need a body and a willingness to feel it.
ARC OF THE SESSION
Opening — stillness and breath. We begin by filling before we spend. This is where you take your first reading of the day and learn what a reading actually feels like from the inside.
Moving practice — vinyasa. The body reports continuously: heat, breath, appetite, edge. I’ll teach you to read it while it’s speaking rather than after the fact, and I’ll name what’s happening as it happens. This is also where the limit gets met honestly not pushed past, not avoided.
The application — I walk you through my own process: what I listen for, how I read it, and what I do with the answer. Then we take it off the mat. The same reading governs how you eat, how you rest, how you spend your attention, how you say yes, and how you say no. That translation is the heart of the series.
Closing — stillness and breath. We end the way we began, refilled rather than spent.
WHO IT’S FOR
Anyone who is tired in a way sleep doesn’t fix. Anyone who gives more than they receive and has stopped noticing. All levels welcome, no prior practice required.
