Family tradition continues. Bacardi rum cake. I only used rum in the recipe and injected the glaze inside the vanilla Bundt Cake. This matches perfectly with Bacardi Coquito. Merry Christmas from the Digon family.

Chefs day off cooking at home. For today, I kept it simple and pure. Picanha steaks with mushrooms and asparagus paired with a full body Cabernet Savignon ( Juggernaut ). I used the reverse sear method for the steaks, and the iron skillet was deglazed with Woodford Reserve Bourbon. Mushrooms were also cooked with the bourbon. The best part of this was seeing my wife happy as I cooked and then we enjoyed our food prepared with Love.

Chefs day of cooking for my beautiful wife. Herb butter, pesto basil, lemon, shrimp pasta, drizzled with lemon infused olive oil, and as a bonus shrimp ravioli, and top with parmasan cheese.

One of my favorite dishes to prepare and keeping with family old tradition that stems back to Cuba and Spain. Grilled Octopus on a bed of buttered potatoes, zucchini, topped with micro green.

For all the steak lovers! Prime Outside Skirt Steak. Cooked to rare plus, get grill to over 725 degrees cook about 2.5 minutes per side. Always but butter on top, and yes, smoke out your kitchen or outside patio. Serve with chimichurri. Remember to let it rest.
