Choosing a college can feel exciting, overwhelming, and confusing all at once.
You may be comparing financial aid packages, thinking about where you will feel supported, considering potential career opportunities, and trying to make a big decision that impacts your future. That is a lot to carry.
The right questions can help bring more clarity.
Affordability matters. Fit matters. Support matters. Long-term opportunity matters.
At Nyah Project, we believe students deserve guidance that helps them make informed decisions with more confidence, not more pressure.

For Naveen, some of the most impactful parts of her journey came from the people, conversations, and environments that challenged her to think more deeply about leadership, purpose, and possibility.
Across her academic and international experiences, she developed a broader understanding of how culture, language, economics, and policy shape the world around us. Those experiences not only influenced her studies, but also the perspective she brings into this next professional chapter.
As Naveen shared, “Nyah Project taught me to dream bigger and know that I am capable of whatever I put my mind to.”
That sense of confidence, combined with mentorship and continued access to guidance and resources, helped support her growth throughout college and beyond.
Naveen recently graduated from the University of Florida and will now be joining the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta as an Economic Research Analyst, focusing on international trade, innovation and growth, and industrial policy.
We’re so excited to celebrate Naveen as she begins this next chapter. Please join us in congratulating her, and stay tuned for more inspiring news from our recent grads!
The final day created space to pause, reflect, and look inward.
After days of movement, conversations, and shared experiences, fellows came together to reflect on what they are carrying with them moving forward. Not just memories, but new perspectives, deeper self-awareness, and a clearer sense of who they are becoming.
Through closing conversations and shared reflection, the experience felt less like an ending and more like the beginning of what comes next.
What is built throughout each cohort of our Global Youth Leadership Fellowship continues far beyond a single moment or place. It lives on in how each Nyah Fellow chooses to move through the world afterward.

Public conversations around college admissions often reward visibility over context.
A school name, a scholarship total, or a highly selective acceptance can quickly become shorthand for “success,” even though those outcomes may not reflect whether a student can realistically afford, navigate, or benefit from that opportunity long term.
More families are now trying to balance academic goals with rising costs, changing workforce realities, student well-being, and questions about long-term return on investment. With Access Online, we encourage students and families to measure what truly matters, so they can make decisions with more clarity, confidence, and strategy.

Graduation season is here, but it's more than a celebration. It is a reflection of the guidance, preparation, and support that help students move forward with confidence.
At Nyah Project, we see every milestone as part of a bigger journey. From college decisions to scholarship opportunities to career goals and personal growth, our work is rooted in helping young leaders understand what comes next and how to navigate it with clarity.
This season, we are honored to celebrate our graduating fellows and the many paths they are taking forward.
Here’s to their hard work, growth, and the futures they are building. Stay tuned as we celebrate the wins, milestones, and next chapters!
Three days, three different environments, one continuous experience of connection.
From quiet moments in the desert to green forests and valleys to navigating lively new cities and conversations, each transition created space to reflect, adapt, and stay present. As the surroundings changed, so did the ways fellows engaged with each other and with what they were learning. Moving between stillness, exploration, and shared dialogue, the experience continued to build awareness, trust, and perspective.
Different places, different rhythms, but a shared sense of growth throughout our Global Youth Leadership Fellowship in Morocco.

One of the hardest parts of the college admissions process is how easy it becomes to compare your journey to everyone else’s highlight reel.
Online, we often see acceptance posts, commitment photos, and scholarship announcements. What we rarely see is everything that happened behind the scenes. For many students and families, college admissions is not just an academic milestone. It is an emotional and financial decision that can shape future opportunities, stability, and long-term mobility.
Students deserve access to support systems and resources that help them evaluate their options with clarity, context, and confidence.
Join Office Hours on Tuesday, May 26 at 5:30 PM ET to ask questions, learn more, and get support as you navigate the college admissions journey.

For many students, travel is not just about visiting a new place. It is about encountering different people, perspectives, and ways of understanding the world.
Diego Julca, a 2023 Nyah Fellow, experienced this firsthand during his time in Egypt alongside Ali Mostafa, a 2023 Peer Facilitator & Intern. From exploring historical sites and museums to engaging with a new culture, each experience became an opportunity to learn beyond the classroom and reflect on perspectives outside of his own.
Experiences like these are not only about where students go, but how they grow. Exposure to new environments can expand curiosity, strengthen confidence, and deepen a sense of possibility.
Through Nyah Project, students gain access to experiences that connect learning with the real world and support their growth as thoughtful, globally aware leaders.

Alex reflects on how his understanding of leadership evolved during Global Youth Leadership Fellowship experience in Morocco last summer.
Through new environments and conversations, he began to see leadership as something less fixed and more personal. Something that can take shape in different ways while still feeling authentic.
It was a shift not just in how leadership looks, but in how it can be practiced.
Experiences like this continue to shape how young leaders see themselves and how they choose to show up.
