What started as fiddling on my ukelele in my pj’s at 7am one morning, turned into something wonderful.

this song has been two years in the making. I cannot even begin to tell you how much energy was poured into this song, how many people were involved, how many iterations it took on, how much focus and attention went into every single moment and detail of the song, and how much gratitude I have for Nissim being grooved up enough to graciously join me on Flowers.

This song is about finding the joyful moments in the seeming sea of negativity. Like plucking a rose from a field of thorns, we need to remember the things we are grateful for, the things that make life worth it.
