Round 2 Games
We are a small company trying to bring joy to as many people as possible, while fulfilling our dream of creating beautiful games.
In Champion of Lore, every card is a resource.
Instead of spending 2 cards to deal with these enemies, we boosted a single card and eliminated all three.
Smart resource management can be just as important as raw power.

🎮 What Would You Do Here? #4
One turn.
Multiple possible plays.
⚔️ Option A: Eliminate the Broad Knight.
🎴 Option B: Preserve your cards and move on.
I chose Option B.
The Broad Knight survived...
But so did my hand.
Sometimes the best move isn't winning a fight.
It's saving your resources for a more important one.

A warning should feel like a warning.
Previously, the Cannon's targeting indicator did its job…
But it didn't feel dangerous.
Now, the impact area is surrounded by glowing runes and magical markings, making incoming attacks easier to read—and much more intimidating.
Small visual changes like this can make a huge difference during gameplay.
⚠️ See the target.
⚠️ Understand the threat.
⚠️ Decide what to do next.

Some turns just come together perfectly.
💣 Bomb Throw
⚔️ Sword Slash
🧿 Yebichai's Amulet
The result?
💥 3 Broad Knights eliminated
💥 1 Chonchon eliminated
A single combo.
Four enemies gone.
This is why we love deckbuilding games.
Finding the right sequence...
and watching everything fall into place.

🎮 What Would You Do Here? #3
One turn.
Multiple possible plays.
💥 Option A: Take it down now and see what it drops.
⚔️ Option B: Ignore the Cannon and focus elsewhere.
I chose Option A.
🔥 Cannon destroyed.
💎 A couple of surprisingly good item drops.
😌 Definitely worth it.
Sometimes the risky play pays off.

Everything was going according to plan…
💣 Throw Bomb
💥 Destroy the Portal
💥 Destroy the Cannon
Perfect turn.
Or so I thought.
Turns out…
Bomb Throw also deals area damage.
And yes…
friendly fire is ON 😭
I destroyed the enemies…
and myself too.
👇 Ever made a play that felt genius for 2 seconds… before becoming a disaster?

We’ve been working on integrating dialogue moments directly into gameplay in Champion of Lore.
The goal is to make battles feel more connected to the world, characters, and story.
🚨 This system is still a work in progress, and yes… the dialogue in this clip is mostly placeholder text for now 🚨
But visually, this is close to the direction we want for in-game conversations.
Slowly making the world feel more alive.

One small environmental change… can completely transform how a world feels.
In this clip, we’re showing how something as simple as adding grass and environmental details can make the battlefield feel more alive, more natural… and more worthy of the stories being told in Champion of Lore.
Because game development isn’t always about adding new mechanics.
Sometimes…
It’s about making the world feel alive.
