Gratitude feels a little deeper this year. Traveling through the Caribbean reminds us how special these islands are. Its people, culture, and spirit are part of who we are at Studio IDC.

Jamaica holds a special place in the heart of Studio IDC. Our family’s roots run deep there, and in the wake of Hurricane Melissa, the island needs our collective support.

Through a partnership led by Tom Tyler, Hospitality Services United, Caribbean Producers Jamaica, Third Wave Volunteers, and Operation Blessing, direct aid is reaching those most affected.

Access to clean water is a significant problem, so chlorine plants are being established to provide a means of sanitization, ensuring hydration, and preventing outbreaks of disease.

Every contribution helps provide food, medical care, and essential supplies to families rebuilding their lives.

Our hearts are with Jamaica and our Caribbean family as they brace for Hurricane Melissa’s impact.

As a studio rooted in Jamaican heritage, we are reminded that life is about caring for place and people. To the families and friends out on the island, you’re in our thoughts. Stay safe.

At Evangeline, an estate on Jumby Bay Island, a commissioned mural by Dina de Brozzi has remained a focal point for more than two decades. Carried forward through each renovation and restyling, the mural is paired with hand-thrown pottery, a stone console, and refined lighting. The space reflects Studio IDC’s belief that meaningful art selection is essential to creating environments that feel both authentic and enduring.
