Who would have thought just ten years ago that we’d be turning to artificial intelligence for relationship advice? Now, ChatGPT is playing therapist, and some say it’s better than any human one they’ve had. There’s a growing trend of people sharing the deep, intimate insights their AI has given them on social media, claiming the bot has given them better guidance and feedback than any human. They are even naming it as if it were a trusted friend. Luna, Solaris, Sage, and Nova are just a few of the monikers individuals have given their AI companions to humanize them. Some fear AI will soon take over their jobs. But isn’t there still something ineffably human, spiritual even, that can’t be replicated by code?
Or can it?
Maybe we’ve created something as Rob Zombie once growled: “more human than human.”
That’s exactly the question explored in AI: More Than Human, the new exhibit at the Frost Museum of Science.AI: More Than Human explores the potential humanity of AI through art, technology, and imagination.
AI: More Than Human is on view now through Monday, September 1, 2025, inside the Hsiao Family Special Exhibition Gallery on the first floor of the museum. Admission to AI: More Than Human is included with all museum admission tickets.

“Balance Through Military Display: A Photo Retrospective of the Hyundai Air and Sea Show“ By Spirit Master Chief When people attend events like the Hyundai Air & Sea Show, they’re usually drawn in by the spectacle—the roar of jet fighters, the precision of military formations. But beneath the surface lies something deeper: a shared sense of unity. Combat, whether in the form of military display, video games, paintball, martial arts, or airsoft, often draws people together because of a common instinct—to protect life. Getting Too Hot Miami? Animal Exploitation is Slowly Cooking Us
Our Planet. Theirs Too. is coordinating the National Animal Rights March in over 50 countries on National Animal Rights Day (NARD) June 1st. NARDMiami brings it to Lincoln Road this Sunday! Come fight for our future!
A Memorial Ceremony to commemorate the billions of animals who die every year by human hands. A Celebration of the progress that is being made towards ending the suffering of animals and bringing forth their freedom. Welcome to NARD 15!” -from NARD Miami
Every time we cook an animal, we cook ourselves and sprinkle salt on the planet’s wounds. Animal exploitation, particularly through animal agriculture, is a leading cause of global warming. This warming is really starting to affect us here in Miami. During many days in the summer, it’s become too hot to be outside. We now have an official “Heat Season” full of extreme heat advisories that were unheard of years ago. Every recent year a new heat record has been broken. 2023 was the hottest since records began in 1880, then 2024 beat the record, and guess what scientists predict for the summer of 2025? Nourishing Futures This Summer: Feeding South Florida Presents Nourish Your Creativity Art Competition
Imagine not knowing where your next meal will come from. For too many people in South Florida, this is a reality. 1.2 million people do not have food security in South Florida.
One organization is leading the way towards hunger-relief: Feeding South Florida. Their mission: to get food from those who have it to those who don’t.
I had the opportunity to speak with Paco Vélez, the CEO of the non-profit powerhouse.
He spoke to me about the challenges of getting food to those who need it the most: children and the elderly. He explained how the organization provides meals to 1.2 million people over four counties including Monroe. He also told me about their programs and events, like the inspiring art competition Feed Your Creativity, which is now accepting submissions from K-12 students until April 30th. Check out the article online to find out more about what this amazing organization is doing here in South Florida
