Mami, hoy se cumplen 6 meses desde tu partida. Me enseñaste tanto en esta vida… a ser una mujer íntegra, responsable, trabajadora y tantas otras cosas por las que estaré eternamente agradecida, por todo lo que me diste y me enseñaste.
Pero lo único que no me enseñaste fue cómo vivir sin ti.

Mi corazón está roto en mil pedazos desde que te fuiste al cielo. Los días que pasan no lo hacen más fácil. Estoy intentando superar tu pérdida, mamita.

Te pido que me cuides desde el cielo como lo hiciste siempre en vida. Ahora es cuando más lo necesito…

As my heart is shredded in a million pieces, I struggle with finding how to express all that I am feeling right now, knowing full well that actually writing this down is making it real. I am numb.
My best friend, my rock, my favorite cheerleader, my travel companion, and the best title she held, my mom who has supported me unconditionally since the day that I was born has been sent by God to be by his side alongside my dad. I am not really sure how to move forward without her and I pray for the strength to be able to do so to continue making her proud with all the values and teachings that she instilled upon me and my sisters. This upcoming Saturday, we will have a mass to celebrate her life. I am still figuring out the details. All I ask is for your prayers to help me get through these most difficult days.

Today she stepped onto the stage for her very first speaking engagement, and she absolutely shined. 💫 Watching her share her voice, her passion, and her message with such confidence filled me with admiration.

This is only the beginning, and I can’t wait to see where her journey takes her. 👏❤️
