WTDC Internship Program: Advancing Student Success Through Hands-On Industry Experience and Career Development.

Founded in 2016 by WTDC President & CEO Sean Gazitua, WTDC’s Internship Program has provided more than 150 students with valuable professional experience through mentorship and career development.

As a Marketing and Business Development Intern, I gained hands-on experience in business development, marketing, and international logistics while building skills and confidence for my future career.

The Gazitua Family is proud to announce that WTDC has reached an extraordinary milestone: 8,000 days without a lost-time accident, dating back to August 2004. This achievement reflects nearly 22 years of safety, teamwork, continuous education, and operational excellence. President & CEO Sean Gazitua helped start WTDC’s safety program while working in Operations, helping build a culture that continues today through forklift certifications, HazMat certifications, CPR and AED certifications, OSHA best practices, emergency preparedness, and ongoing employee training.

As WTDC approaches 50 years of service, the Gazitua Family thanks every team member for making safety a daily priority while helping safely manage more than $600 million in pre-positioned inventory for customers around the world. Safety First. Excellence Always.

WTDC was honored today to welcome Archbishop Thomas Wenski of the Archdiocese of Miami for a special visit with the Gazitua family and the WTDC team.

WTDC has been selected by Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Miami as the official warehouse for humanitarian aid shipments to Cuba. During his visit, Archbishop Wenski blessed the first shipment of humanitarian lanterns destined for the people of Cuba. He also offered prayers and blessings for WTDC employees, the company’s facilities, and its statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The visit reflects a longstanding friendship and shared ministry between the Gazitua family, Archbishop Wenski, and Fr. Richard Vigoa. Together, they have supported humanitarian missions to Cuba and participated in important moments in the life of the Church, including the Papal Masses of Pope Benedict XVI in Santiago de Cuba and Pope Francis in Havana, as well as the 500th Anniversary celebration of the founding of Havana.

WTDC and the Gazitua family remain deeply committed to faith, humanitarian service, and bringing hope and assistance to those in need.

WTDC is proud to support our community in preparation for hurricane season. This week we delivered 2905 gallons of bottled water to His House Children’s Home as part of our 4th Annual Water Drive.

WTDC supports mission to provide every child with a safe, loving, and nurturing home. His House’s 232 bed campus in Miami Gardens provides residential care and support services for abused, abandoned, and neglected children. His House also trains and works closely with foster families, providing another avenue for children to find a safe home.
