This June, we want to remind you that Inscribed is comprised of members of the LGBT community, and will always support our q***r siblings until the day we die. The violence against trans people, not only in this country, but worldwide as well makes us sick...So if you're a fellow battler of the struggle in these crooked times, remember to always be true to yourself, no matter what fundamentalists and reactionaries do and say to instill fear and keep you down. Keep each other safe out there. Happy pride month. Crush the cross!

WARTHRASH - No Light Shall Remain [CD/Digital]
WARTHRASH developed a strong, recognizable sonic identity, shaped by more than two decades of consistent work and musical development. The album marks a milestone in its artistic growth, solidifying a sound that powerfully blends thrash and traditional death metal into an intense, dark, and profoundly aggressive musical statement.

SCYTHE - Boiled Alive [CD/Digital]
On the album's eight savage tracks, Romanian death metal quartet SCYTHE delivers a plethora of death/thrash compositions loaded with filthy, fleet-footed transitional riffs, a barrage of barbaric rhythms, and disgusting, inhuman guttural vocals. At a perfect 34-plus-minute runtime, the replay factor is immediate.

CYCLOPIC - Flesh of Chaos [CD/Digital]
Formed in 2025, the international metal project CYCLOPIC draws its musical roots from old-school death and thrash metal. The album's 10 tracks, recorded remotely, draw lyrical themes from fantasy novelist Michael Moorcock's works—most notably the 'Swords Trilogy' and other 'Eternal Champion' stories.

ONE DAY IN PAIN - Devouring the Gods [CD/Digital]
Stockholm's death metal force ONE DAY IN PAIN aims to craft an album that is heavier, more massive, and more technically refined than ever on their fourth release. The result is a crushing, bone-breaking sound infused with a hint of doom-death-metal spirit. This blend of classic sounds and traditional approaches captures the enduring essence of old-school death metal.

INSCRIBED - Upon the Twisted Throne [CD/Digital]
INSCRIBED from Miami aims to echo early death/thrash metal with a focus on creativity and intensity. The album blends death/thrash influences with increased technicality and melodic breaks, featuring bass-centric songwriting with fast runs and a fingerstyle attack, razor-sharp riffs, fast drumming, and raspy growls. It channels early 90s Florida death metal with a progressive twist.

GOLD SPIRE - Steps into Shadow [CD/Digital]
Following their acclaimed self-titled debut, GOLD SPIRE, formed in 2019 in Sweden, continued to evolve creatively and sonically. Their sophomore album, Steps into Shadow, is a darker, more direct record that further expands the band's dynamic, genre-defying identity while retaining the progressive and death-metal roots that define their sound.
