Although the performance is limited by today’s standards, these were considered the cutting-edge for pc’s at the time and were at the forefront of innovation. they marked a pivotal moment in PC history making computing more accessible beyond the office desk. The 1980s saw rapid advancements in microprocessor technology, the rise of graphical interfaces, and the early adoption of portable computing, all of which laid the groundwork for the more powerful/more user-friendly laptops of the ’90s.
