BEWARE OF DEALERSHIPS!! I went in for an OIL CHANGE. Nothing was wrong with my suspension, the car drove perfectly fine, and I had ZERO issues with the front end. While it was there they suddenly “found” play in my ball joint and tried selling me complete control arms. I declined because I didn’t authorize or ask for suspension work. I leave the shop and before I can even get down the road the BALL JOINT COMPLETELY SEPARATES from the control arm. Sorry, but I don’t believe in coincidences like that. A ball joint doesn’t just magically decide to fall apart five minutes after a shop was touching and inspecting that EXACT AREA trying to sell you the repair. In my opinion they intentionally loosened or damaged something expecting me to approve the control arms, and when I declined they sent the vehicle out anyway. I’m documenting everything because if a shop has to sabotage customers’ vehicles to sell work, they have absolutely no business touching anyone’s car.

Okay, all. I pulled off the radiator cap and found this sludge. Thoughts? 1996 5.8⚙️

While driving my truck (2012 Tahoe) does this!! All the lights come on but it still drive fine. But when I cut the truck off it goes away. They all come on at the same time while driving any clues??

KW T680 driver side king pin stuck in axle. Tried heating it up and from all the hammering started to mushroom the top and started to crack. Tried pressing it back up and couldn't get it to move. I believe from how long driver was riding on it, it might be bent. Any one got some other ideas I can try. (I do not have a press tool.)

Just got new ball joints and they’re different…
Picked these new ones up from ourisman after they ran my VIN. Will this work even though it’s different?! Do I need an alignment if just swapping one upper driver side? Not worried about the zerk fitting
