CHANGE ROVER, IS A MOBILE UNIT UTILIZED AS AN INNOVATION STATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF HELPING OTHERS BRING THEIR SOCIAL IMPACT IDEAS TO LIFE TO IMPROVE THEIR (OUR) COMMUNITIES!
WITH HELP FROM MANY PARTNERS, VOLUNTEERS AND SUPPORTERS WE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO UTILIZE OUR CHANGE ROVER TO HELP DEVELOP SOCIAL IMPACT INITIATIVES. BY COLLABORATING WITH NEIGHBORHOOD GARDENS AND RESTAURANTS WE HAVE IGNITED CHEF and KIDS, DESIGNED TO HELP PARTICIPANTS LEARN HOW TO GROW AND COOK THEIR OWN FOOD; WITH LOCAL POETS, CREATED ELEVATED POETRY, DESIGNED TO IMPROVE INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND BUILD CONFIDENCE; AND WITH COMMUNITY BARBERS, DEVELOPED BARBERS4CHANGE, DESIGNED TO HELP YOUTH AND THOSE IN NEED RECEIVE ONE-ON-ONE MENTORSHIP AND ALLEVIATE FEELINGS OF EMBARRASSMENT.
