In 2010 while I was working in Manhattan for a Wine and Spirits multinational company and leading a team of subject-matter-experts I realized that my role as a leader was not about transferring my MBA and marketing skills to my team anymore, but to help them become the best they could be in their own areas of expertise. To better to do that I enrolled myself at a Coaching certificate program at the New York University and since then I have been fortunate to be able to practice my coaching not only with my teams at work, but also as a consultant for Fortune 500 companies creating coaching sessions to help their Directors better coach their own teams, as well as having my own independent clients. I focus on you and in your organization unique challenges and opportunities. I also understand that owners and senior managers in small businesses do not have many people to talk to; that’s why I create a judgment free space to discuss your unique challenges and help you achieve more. Unlike a Consultant, Coaches are expected to be responsible for your development journey not its content; at the end of the day you are the expert of your own knowledge; However, my consulting biased is stronger and one thing that distinguished me from other coaches is that I will give my own advice and I call my clients on their mistakes when I see them. I want you to take full advantage of my own journey and expertise. That is why I blend both mentoring and coaching practices into my approach. I have work in industries as different as Home Care, Personal Care, Soft Drinks, Management Consulting, and Pharma, but it has been on the Wine and Spirits one where I have spent most of my days. Hence, my appreciation for a good cocktail and the look of my Instagram feed. Do I drink?... only at work!
