We are deeply saddened to learn of the recent passing of one of our Miami Marathon crew members. Don Matuszak not only played an integral part in producing our Miami events, but his big heart and loyal friendship shone through everything he did.

Don supported the Miami Marathon from the beginning and contributed greatly to the continued success of our races over the years—touching the hearts our Life Time Miami Marathon family, the community, and all who knew him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones. He will be in our hearts forever. 🧡💙

From plogging to using reusable bottles, every small step makes a difference. Earlier this year, we partnered with the Life Time Foundation and Clean Miami Beach to help remove 280+ lbs of trash from Miami’s shoreline during our Miami Marathon beach cleanup; we collaborated with community partners to recycle and reuse plastic products and sneakers; and donated leftover athlete food to community members in need.

Let’s keep our city clean and provide for our planet — one mile at a time. 🌿🏃‍♂️
