Lots of familiar faces, plenty of new ones, all finding each other on the dance floor. Hugs, high-fives, smiles and those conversations that only seem to happen when the right people end up in the same place at the same time.

The music was serious business. Our heavyweight guests delivered, the system got a proper workout, and for a few hours we were reminded what Pickle feels like.

More than anything, it was good to reconnect. We’ve missed this.

The road continues through Japan and Europe this summer before The Pickle grand opening in the fall.

A true pioneer of hard-edged techno, The Advent has spent decades shaping the underground through relentless groove, machine funk and uncompromising energy behind the decks. From his early roots in London’s warehouse scene to releases on legendary labels like Kombination Research and Tresor, his influence continues to echo across dance floors worldwide.

After years as a cornerstone of miami’s underground, the pickle returns Friday may 22 with a new home at 94th aero squadron.

Open air beneath oak hammocks and passing airplanes, the relaunch channels the spirit of the original while opening a new chapter for the city’s late night community.

Expect house, techno, electro and epic sunrise moment from a stacked lineup built for the heads.
