Very positive community meeting today! Thank you to all that attended. We tried to do Facebook live but didn’t have access to WiFi so the video kept cutting off due to a bad connection, which is why there are multiple videos. Now is the time for public housing residents of all developments to unite to demand better and demand accountability without fear. Please like our page and reach out to us if you would like to be involved!

IMPORTANT MEETING FOR CULMER PLACE/GARDENS
TODAY Monday April 16th 2018, 6:00pm @ Lyric Theater
The County is holding a meeting on Monday night at the Lyric Theatre at 6 pm to “review the history of the re-development efforts at Culmer Place and Culmer Gardens and the recent availability of new resources for the continuation of these efforts.” While we do not know the exact agenda, we do know that the Beckham group has paid particular attention to these properties:

It is important for ALL to attend to be informed on the County’s plan for the properties. Culmer Place (together with Reeves Park) is 17 acres and Culmer Gardens is 6 acres. This is a huge portion of Overtown property between I-95 and Spring Garden. We have been advised that the meeting is open to the public. Please attend to show your support for Overtown, and all the residents of Culmer Place and Culmer Gardens.
IT'S NOT A DONE DEAL!
Get informed and let your voices be heard!
