Job Summary:

Miami Cordage/Florida Wire & Rigging Works is a family owned and operated manufacturer and distributor of fiber and wire rope, custom lifting and boating assemblies, rigging supplies and hardware.

We are a busy environment/workplace and are interested in a hardworking, hand-working, creative and punctual individual to join our Splicing department. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are required.

Your work will be used by various industries like Nasa, Government, Defense, Homeland Security, Agriculture and Maritime Individuals.

Job Responsibilities:

· Sewing capabilities are required. Aspirants willing to learn are more than welcome to apply.
· Hand Splice: Dock Lines, Anchor Lines, Rope to Chain.
· Whipping Rope.
· Splice as per customer drawings and designs to any type of hardware.
· Hand Splice twist and braided ropes.
· Might sew leather on the Rope.
· Work directly with the COO and Sales Team.
· Ensure quality of the products is intact.
· Assist in periodic Internal Audit to ensure ISO Standards.

Job Requirements:

· Must possess basic machine shop skills.
· Ability to communicate effectively.
· High school diploma is preferred.
· Training or experience in manufacturing industry is preferred.
· Capabilities in planning, organization, integration, and control with respect to material planning function.
· Strong zeal to work in different environmental conditions.
· Strong attention to details.
· Physical Requirements; reading, close and color vision, constant/frequent walking and occasional lifting up to 50 LBS.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $16.00 -$20.00 /hour based on experience

** Chances of increase in salary in 3 months depending on the employee performance.
