Cubarican Raks Arts Fest is more than honored to have as a Master Teacher the one and only “Puerto Rican Sensation,” Arish Lam.
Born in the beautiful San Juan, Puerto Rico, Arish Lam is a multifaceted character with a very particular beat. He is a multi-awarded dancer bringing to his homeland various awards such as Belly Dancer of the Year, Mr. America Belly Dance, Mr. & Mrs. America of the Belly Dance, among others. Arish Lam was recognized with the “Nagwa Fouad Cup” in Korea where he performed and served as judge in the Professional Category of the Korean Belly Dance Competition in 2007.
Arish Lam let loose his imagination and creativity and came up with his own unique and one of a kind fusion style. This style has crossed the seas and is now known internationally as the “Puerto Rico Sensation.”

Arish has trained young Puerto Rican dancers in the art of belly dance and fusion style and his apprentices have competed in competitions in California, Las Vegas, Miami, Korea, Dominican Republic, to name a few, bringing back winners in different categories while introducing Puerto Rico as a strong competitor in belly dance and its styles.

Cubarican Raks Arts Fest is proud to present, from Italy, the Master Instructor, Silvia Brazzoli.
Silvia Brazolli is an International dancer, choreographer, and teacher of oriental dances. Silvia is known for her graceful, elegant style and her strong technique and teaching methods.
Silvia is the owner of the dance company Silvia Raqs Group in Italy, where she also has her school of oriental dances; and is the producer to the dance event “Oasi Giornata Di Danza.” In addition, Silvia teaches and performs in Europe, Africa, Asia, and America.
Winner of several international dance contest, Silvia also performed in two of the most famous belly dance companies in the world: Bellydance Evolution, created and directed by Jillina Carlano; Amaya Dance Company, directed by Manca Pavli, with whom she has been on tour in four continents.
The growth of a dancer is never-ending, and Silvia is constantly researching and training locally and abroad in several dance styles, influencing the development of her own unique style.
