Shout out to the amazing teens at PB&J Promise, a group of dedicated students at Carrollton School who show up for their community EVERY WEEK to make sandwiches and distribute sandwiches to our community fridges! 🙌❤️🙏 thank you for showing up for your neighbors all year long! 🥹🥹🥹

How to support your community fridge this Thanksgiving:

1. Drop off individually wrapped pre-made meals. All meals must be labeled with ingredients and individually wrapped (please NO serving trays!). We’ve been receiving an abundance of sandwiches recently so pre-made hot meals are preferred.

2. Drop off holiday staples, non-perishables and grocery items for families to prepare meals in their own homes.

3. Bring cleaning supplies and give a fridge a deep clean this weekend. The fridges are the most active around the holidays so they could really use some extra cleaning love!

We’re looking to commission two local artists to paint community fridges in Florida City and Little Havana.

The community fridges, and all of programs, need your help! Our biggest grant was cut, leaving us with a $160,000 gap and only 2 months of funds left. If we don’t raise it, our food access programs for 5,000+ Miamians could shut down by the end of summer.

🚨One of the Little Haiti fridges has moved! 🚨

The community fridge on NE 2nd Ave has closed after several incredible years of partnership. The fridge is now located at at 274 NW 54th st. It’s right out front at open 24/7 🫶
