I haven’t posted this past week because I’ve been completely devastated.
My cousin Andy was tragically killed while out for a jog. He was a bright light — a father, a husband, a true man of God. He leaves behind his wife Michelle and their two beautiful kids, Lucas and Lili.

It’s been a lot to carry. But even in the darkest moments, I still believe God is close to the brokenhearted.

The highest form of wisdom

is to have seen darkness

and still choose to bring light.

I used to think being punk rock meant going against the system. But over time, I realized the music, the culture—even the rebellion—were all part of the same machine. Rage Against the Machine? Now even much of the Christian movement has been hijacked by the world. Just like everything else. But Jesus gave us the filter: “You’ll know them by their fruits.”

Everyone talks about positive energy, good vibes, and protecting peace.

But real peace doesn’t come from comfort — it comes from truth.
Even when it flips tables. Even when it offends.

Jesus didn’t come to chill. He came to call out demons, shake the system, and set people free.
That’s what holy fire looks like.
