How could this older stump be under this tree that fell last week?

Quick poll time! Which front fish-scales look are you loving: keep that bold green strip or go all copper?

I'd love to hear your thought on fish-scale dilemma detail we are having on our 1905 Victorian Home. I can't decide if I want to keep the green stripe or should go all copper. What do you all think??

We recently completed a full exterior paint project (eventually, I'll upload the before and after's). I thought I would love the dark green stripe but now I am second guessing myself.

W.A. Hart House 1109 Main St., Tarboro NC

This house exhibits a full-blown Neo-classical style rare in Tarboro. Located at 1109 Main Street, the house was completed ca. 1909 for William A. Hart. He was a highway commissioner for this region and a leading businessman. He established the William & Mary Hart Church in Leggett. The house features a full height portico with Corinthian columns with a one story flanking Ionic porch. Parts resemble the Frank Hart house near Battleboro community.

This house in South Windsor, Connecticut was built in 1788-1790 as the home of merchant and farmer John Watson. This style of house, with three stories and a low hip roof, was common in New England seaport towns such as Salem and Portsmouth during this period, but this is a rare inland example of this style in the Connecticut River Valley.
