Riko's world was turned upside down when the person he loved most, his owner, passed away. This sweet 7-year-old boxer suddenly lost his home, his family, and everything familiar. Now he sits scared and confused at Miami-Dade Animal Services, wondering why his dad never came back.

Riko was a beloved companion who was loved, pampered, and cared for his entire life. He's a gentle, loving boy with a big heart and an even bigger personality. After years of living in a home, the shelter is a scary and overwhelming place for him. No dog should have to grieve the loss of their owner while sitting alone in a kennel.

Please help us find Riko a loving adopter or foster home where he can feel safe, loved, and comforted during this difficult time. Even a temporary foster can make a huge difference while we search for his forever family.
