We are excited to welcome Jalisa, Community Resource Specialist, as she transitions into our South Florida operations!

Jalisa has been a dedicated and compassionate member of the Sunrise team, making a meaningful impact on the persons supported and staff in Tallahassee. Her positive spirit, strong work ethic, and commitment to those we serve continue with her as she begins this next chapter.

She even shared a heartfelt poem as she said goodbye to Tallahassee, just one reflection of the care and thoughtfulness she brings to every space she’s a part of.

We are so glad to have her in South Florida and look forward to all the wonderful things ahead. Welcome, Jalisa! 🌟💙

✨ Breakfast for Champions Highlight

Sunrise Community was proud to attend the recent Breakfast for Champions event, where persons supported enjoyed an unforgettable experience filled with excitement, community, and celebration. 💙

From receiving gift bags with raffle tickets to winning incredible prizes like autographed posters, Visa gift cards, trip vouchers and more, the event was filled with joyful moments and big smiles all around.

At Sunrise Community, we celebrate the unique strengths, perspectives, and contributions of persons with autism. Every day, we are committed to promoting inclusion, understanding, and meaningful opportunities so that every person we support can thrive.

Awareness may have a month, but our commitment lasts all year. 💙

As we reflect on the past quarter, we’re proud to spotlight our participation in the Celebration of the Hands at Children’s Week Florida.

This powerful display, made up of nearly 33,000 unique hand artworks, served as a vibrant reminder to legislators and visitors that the future of our communities is in their hands. Sunrise Community was honored to be part of an initiative that brings awareness, advocacy, and creativity together in such a meaningful way. 💙

We were honored to celebrate the ribbon cutting of The Village of Casa Familia, Inc., a powerful step forward in creating inclusive communities where persons supported can truly thrive.

💛 A moment of pure gratitude.

When Janeen Young in Waterloo, Iowa heard that she had been selected as one of our DSP Vacation Voucher Raffle winners, the emotion was immediate. Surrounded by her team, Janeen was overwhelmed with gratitude and joy! What a beautiful reminder of the heart and dedication our Direct Support Professionals bring to the persons we support every day.

Moments like this are just a small way for us to say thank you for the compassion, commitment, and care our DSPs provide across Sunrise Community.
