❗️TRAVEL ALERT | ROAD CLOSURE I-70 Eastbound at Georgetown❗️
⚠️UPDATE - 4:30 p.m. (4/4) - I-70 eastbound is now OPEN after removing the semi truck from the highway. There is a single lane closure at the crash site on eastbound I-70 near Georgetown which will remain in place while cleanup continues.

🚫I-70 Eastbound is CLOSED near Georgetown🚫 -12:15 p.m. (4/4/23)- A semi truck rolled over and is blocking all lanes of eastbound Interstate 70 near Georgetown. There is NO alternate route around the closure at this time.
Travelers in Summit County can use CO 9 to US 285 or CO 9 to US 40 Berthoud Pass to avoid the closure, but will encounter a longer commute.
