ACTION:Activity
Today is all about your heart. First, recall in your mind a time where Jesus showed his love to others in the Bible- maybe through provision or through healing, or as a server (he multiplied bread, he healed the blind man, he watched their feet, he died on the cross, etc.) Meditate on it.
Second, think about your heart. You are going to write a letter to your heart right now, yes, a letter. You will tell your heart all you’ve been holding on to. Now, go, do it and come back.No cheating, go.
Third, go to the closest mirror and read this letter out loud to the person in the mirror. Pray for your heart.
Why?
God does not want us to struggle with a troubled heart, that's what He does. He deals with your troubled heart. God loves you just the way you are, but he refuses to leave you there. He wants you to be just like Jesus. This Belief itself changes Biology. This belief allows us to explore that we can in fact be like Jesus. Jesus did nothing with a troubled heart, he never worried. As we model Jesus we are challenged to defeat fear with faith, and get out of the way while we experience physiological transformation.
SCRIPTURE: Matthew 6:34
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Prayer: God, I praise your mighty name right now. I open up my heart to you, thank you for being the king of my heart, take your place. You know what I need. Do what only you can. It is with my heart in Jesus' name that I pray. Amen.
