The V Path

This year, I produced so much. I want to share a piece of some of fav shots I caught, since there’s too many. I won’t lie and act like it was an easy year and sweep it under the rug. Photography and my partner were literally my lifeline this year.

This by far was one of the hardest years for me due to facing 2 of the biggest betrayals by far in my life. This was one of the hardest years because I lost my grandma and several of my participants on my caseload at work. In that loss, my body force me to create. From having to close the door on an absent folks to learning my lesson on investing my hard earned money into a property that wasn’t mine.

I will always create for my life has purpose and will always turn loss into gold. I will never respect greed and I will never respect absence.

Miami has also shown me that people have been following my journey. I saw several faces from last year who showed me love, who live in Florida! It is a honor to be remembered for your work.

This December 5th, I’ll be showcasing a new printed and framed piece in collaboration with around Taino in the blood of Boricuas in and out of la isla! The second piece is a familiar one; lighting shot in Puerto Rico. Curated and hosted by ! Thank you for the opportunity.

Being Boricua is powerful because since it is evident resistance has been in our hearts and blood, always. From Pedro Albizu Campos; to bomba; to our pastelon, rebellion is our key ingredient.

Congrats on .ros on being accepted to do a mural on 125th, the heart of the neighborHOOD in Harlem.

Phase 1, completed. Phase 2 is next which are details, retouching and finishing touches. .ros did her thing. .nyc laid the buildings out. All the yellows were me.
