At 45, I lost everything. My marriage was falling apart, and every bit of strength I had left was spent crying on the bathroom floor. All my dreams, all my plans, crumbled to dust. A strange urge grew inside me—a desire to run away and to disappear. I deserved better, and I knew I had to prove my worth to my husband. So, in a fit of desperation, I picked up my suitcase and FLEW TO SPAIN!

"I wanted to surprise you. What's going on? What is… that?"
"IT'S NOTHING!" he said quickly, looking away.
"Ben, I don't think that's 'NOTHING.' What is it? And why didn't you tell me you were doing this?"
His expression faltered. "Trust me. I'm just doing what needs to be done."
