Don’t forget to ZOOM IN! The chaos also comes together to created an organized subject, the Aligator! This piece barely lasted an hour before it was sold at the Winter Park Art Festival a few months ago. So grateful to the collector who has a particular fascination with Gators! 🐊

Sometimes when I hit creative blocks I dig up old forgotten projects or experiments and I try to rework them in some new way that I haven’t tried before. That way it’s double work; I get an old project out of the way and get to try a new technique on a piece I’m not super emotionally attached to. You’d be surprised how many pieces I start and just kinda leave on the sidelines, but that’s necessary when you’re trying to evolve a certain style.

What a weekend! Immense gratitude for the people that shared kind words and their energy by stopping by. Also extremely thankful for the people I have around me to assist in the physical and emotional that came along for this first show. I have one more show at the end of the month that’s local to central florida, so if you have a chance come check out my booth next weekend on the 24-25th of March!

The amount of times I flip between “alright let’s make some reels” and “I’ll just never make a post again” is too high. So please watch me settle with a photo of my last piece I finished ☺️ this was a fun end of the year project that kept the momentum going into this year. As I reflect on the constant demands of capitalism, I can't help but feel the weight of its impact on my own emotional stability. It's a constant tug-of-war between the need to succeed and the desire for balance and contentment. But through self-care and mindfulness, I am finding my way towards a sense of peace and fulfillment.
