It is said that Elon Musk has put in an offer to purchase Twitter. Musk actually plans to acquire Twitter and take it private, saying that he believes the company needs to be "transformed." A lot of people are excited for this to happen and ready for new management behind the platform.

The SEC said Musk is to acquire all the shares in Twitter he does not own for $54.20 per share. Musk said the cash offer was his "best and final offer," according to the SEC filing, also saying that if his offer isn’t accepted he would have to withdrawal his position as a shareholder.
