In the second half of our friend-centric movie binge we'll watch boys support each other through unexpected adventures -- corpses, hostages, treasure, beasts -- y'know, typical kid stuff.

We're launching a bunch of new recurring events in 2024, starting with something a lot of you have been asking for—MOVIE NIGHTS!! Whether you know the scripts to these classics by heart or you've slept on them until now, let's cozy up with some popcorn and enjoy the cultural phenomena that (imo) hugely fed into gatekeep/gaslight/girlboss culture ~while still reminding us~ how making genuine connections can actually save us. Join .miami for a community storytelling event next Saturday afternoon!! Talk to their organizing teams, play dominos, eat pastelitos, and meet other South Floridians passionate about climate action and environmental justice.

Have you ever picked up a ukulele only to soon abandon it because it was really confusing?* Well, dust that thing off (or borrow your friend's!) and come out to Dear Eleanor next Thursday for an intro level class. Paloma Dueñas will guide you through the basics so you can--with practice!--be ready by beach season.
*or bc your fingers don't bend like that/you weren't immediately good at it and/or a different hyperfocus snagged you (....no? just me?)
