Father's Day Celebration with a Classic Old Fashioned Cocktail Recipe 🥃 🌟
Father's Day is a time to celebrate the incredible dads in our lives. This year, why not treat him to a timeless cocktail that exudes sophistication and warmth? The Old Fashioned is a perfect blend of simplicity and flavor, making it an ideal drink to toast to all the wonderful fathers out there.
Old Fashioned Cocktail Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 oz bourbon or rye whiskey
- 1 sugar cube
- 2-3 dashes Angostura bitters
- A few dashes of plain water
- Ice cubes
- Orange twist and a cherry for garnish
Instructions:
1. Muddle the sugar and bitters:In a mixing glass, place the sugar cube and saturate it with bitters. Add a few dashes of plain water and muddle until the sugar is dissolved.
2. Add the whiskey: Fill the glass with ice cubes, then add the bourbon or rye whiskey.
3. Stir well:Stir the mixture until well-chilled.
4. Garnish: Strain into a rocks glass with one large ice cube. Garnish with an orange twist and a cherry.
