Making a good budget is like making a good latte macchiato, there are 3 different and really important layers that you shouldn’t miss. First you need some milk, then an espresso shot, and lastly a little layer of milk foam. 😋

The same 3 layers will be represented in the 50/30/20 rule . You should spend 50% of your after tax dollars on needs, no more than 30% on wants, and 20% on savings and INVESTMENTS!

Next time you make a latte macchiato remember that its proportion in the ingredients are as important as making your monthly budget.

Tuesday, Snap Inc announced a profit warning which made social media stocks lose more than $135 billion in market value. Snap’s stock went down by 43% just yesterday, their biggest decline since their IPO in 2017. The company’s future looks unsteady as they are failing to meet prior forecasts of revenue and profit!
Other companies affected were Meta, Google-owner Alphabet, Pinterest, Netflix and Amazon😮

Tesla, the most valuable auto company focusing on electric vehicles, has ironically been removed from the ESG Sustainability Index. The S&P Dow Jones Indices, who control the index, declared that Tesla has been cut regarding issues over racial discrimination and crashes linked to its autopilot vehicles. The company’s CEO, Elon Musk, has responded with angry tweets declaring that “ESG is a scam”. On another Elon note, Musk has also been accused of sexual misconduct from a flight attendant and then paying her $250,000 for her silence.
