A transformative landscape vision is reshaping the outdoor experience at Murano.
Spanning more than 80,000 SF of outdoor environments, the vision reimagines the property's entrance, amenity spaces, and pool deck as a connected, resort-inspired destination. A redesigned arrival sequence, framed by lush native and tropical plantings, creates a welcoming first impression while enhancing resilience and long-term sustainability. Throughout the property, carefully curated landscapes introduce shaded gathering areas, wellness-focused amenities, and spaces for relaxation, recreation, and social connection.
The transformation extends to an expansive pool deck retreat, where garden pathways weave through vibrant planting palettes, leading to new cabanas, wellness spaces, fitness areas, and racquet sport amenities. Every element has been thoughtfully designed to strengthen the connection between landscape and Biscayne Bay while creating a seamless outdoor living experience.
By blending ecological sensitivity, wellness, and resort-style programming, the project demonstrates how landscape architecture can unlock new value and redefine luxury waterfront living.

In Guangzhou, this mixed-use development brings together landscape, retail, and hospitality through a multi-level public realm that connects the site from street to rooftop.
At grade, grand corner plazas guide movement through the development, where informal clusters of trees soften the geometry of the paving and create moments of pause. Key entry points are marked by Delonix trees, drawing visitors toward vertical connections and the elevated garden above.
Three stories up, the podium becomes an extension of the public realm—shaded, planted, and activated by outdoor seating that blurs the line between interior and exterior. A sculptural skylight anchors the space, while bamboo screens, planters, and integrated artwork create a more intimate garden environment.
A consistent material and planting palette ties both levels together, reinforcing a seamless spatial experience from street to rooftop.

In celebration of Earth Day 🌎
Canopy Park reflects how design can do more than shape space, it can restore it.
Once a parking lot, the site has been transformed into a living landscape that supports biodiversity, manages stormwater, and reconnects people to nature. Native ecosystems, from coastal dunes to pine rockland, create habitat for pollinators and migratory species while reducing the need for irrigation and maintenance.
Designed as a model for climate resilience, the park integrates green infrastructure, including bioswales and a 25,000-gallon cistern, to capture and reuse rainwater while helping protect Miami Beach from flooding.
More than a park, it is a living system where ecology, community, and design come together.

The Rosie the Elephant Playground in Canopy Park pays tribute to one of Miami Beach's oldest symbols. During the 1920s, Rosie was a city mascot who paraded through advertising and drawing visitors from all over the country.
Designed by in collaboration with ArquitectonicaGEO, the playground transforms a piece of local history into a dynamic landscape. The playscape encourages hours of child-led adventure, with obstacle courses, slides, and spaces designed for kids of all ages and abilities.
Greater than a playground, Rosie's past reaches into the future. She was once a symbol of Miami Beach's promise and ambition. Today, she is the centerpiece of a green, 3-acre park that reunites families and communities with nature in the heart of the city.
