𝗔 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗲 👩‍🍳

This week’s team retreat was a beautiful reminder that, just like in the kitchen, great things happen when we bring different strengths, ideas, and ingredients together. ✨

Every team member brings something unique to the table, but it’s how we combine our talents, support one another, and work toward a shared purpose that makes the difference. Teamwork looks a lot like cooking!

We loved seeing everyone’s creativity and personality come through as our team created some wonderful “recipes” together. We may just have the beginnings of a Miami Music Project team cookbook! 🍽️

A new chapter of music, creativity and opportunity is beginning at Carrie P. Meek/Westview K-8 Center! 🎶

Through the 2026–2027 Arts Access Miami Central Expansion grant, Miami Music Project is expanding its programming to give more students the opportunity to discover their talents, strengthen their musical skills and experience the joy of artistic expression.

This week we published our ArtSpeak video conversation with ANNA B. KLIMALA, who is a nationally recognized nonprofit executive, music education visionary, classically trained double-bassist, and community impact leader who has dedicated her career to using music and the arts as catalysts for social change. As President & CEO of Miami Music Project, she has transformed the organization into one of the largest tuition-free music education programs in the United States, reaching more than 33,000 young people and raising over $25 million in public and private funding, with 100% of program alumni graduating high school and attending college.
