Meet Wolfie! This older Largebrador (obese labrador) was brought to our vet's office yesterday to be euthanized because his mother has dementia and nobody they know is in a position to take him. This gentle giant has only known one home since he was a puppy. We are awaiting results of his blood work and other diagnostics. We know he has lived with cats peacefully and he doesn't seem to be aggressive at all. Our vet says his heart and lungs sound good and he is happy and energetic. Would anybody be able to foster him while we find him a home where he can enjoy the rest of his life? Gabriele Hoffmann Armellini Kate Klarich Linda Burnett Susan Fraga Leotteau

Well helloooooooo Thelma & Louise! These two 11-month-old lab mixes were found in the 33142 area. We've exhausted all efforts to find their original people and are now seeking a foster home or a foster-to-adopt home or, ultimately, a forever home. This bonded pair are about 60 lb, full grown although they could put on a few more pounds. They are super social, loving, playful, well mannered and extremely dependent on each other. Thelma & Louise LOVE adventurizing. Right now they are in a very temporary foster home in Miami Springs. They have had their core vaccines, are heartworm negative and will be spayed within the next week or so. Please share them for the best possible outcome for these easy going, wonderful girls. Velcro is still seeking his LTR. And now his situation is becoming a little more critical as he's losing his foster home at the end of this month. His foster parents love him but their lifestyle will not accommodate him any more. They're about to head out on their sailboat for an around the world adventure.

A little more about this wonderful boy...

He always greets you with a toy in his mouth, ready to play. Velcro loves to play fetch and tug, he likes to chase lizards and bark at ducks and other birds. This boy loves an adventure, he plays hard and then he naps even harder... A very sound sleeper.

Velcro is very gentle and calm and loves to give kisses. He enjoys belly rubs and thinks he’s a lapdog. Curious and intelligent, he doesn’t fall for the same trick twice. A very social young man, he gets along well with humans and other dogs. Not sure about cats. He loves to ride in the car, even long road trips.

This boy has great manners. He sits to put on his leash or ask for a treat, walks well on the leash. Velcro is not particularly food driven, he is well behaved when humans are eating. Although he does love peanut butter.

At just under 2 years old, he is about as perfect as a living being gets. He even is a minimal shedder. Oh, and why is his name Velcro? Because he is so easy to get attached to.

The clock is ticking on Velcro. He is presently located in Miami Springs and is up to date on everything, neutered and very healthy. Please share him for a foster or forever home. He would love to meet and greet potential families. Lauree Simmons Gina Nicole Harke Bill Wetmore
