This unassuming tower at the corner of Fifth and 43rd, has an interesting concrete motive, which reminds me of the windows at the base of the Waldorf tower and in a smaller way to Carlo Scarpa’s favorite detail, the stepped edge. Kudos to the architects for this detail that softens the overall character of the building.
