🎉 Please join us in congratulating Kassidy Siragusa as she begins a new chapter in her Mesquite ISD journey as assistant principal at Galloway Elementary!

Kassidy Siragusa has served Mesquite ISD for eight years and currently teaches second grade at Price Elementary, where she serves in several campus leadership roles, including grade-level chair, PACE mentor, K–2 vertical alignment leader, and Data-to-Action math facilitator. She began her career as a 2nd and 3rd-grade teacher at Thompson Elementary, where she was named Teacher of the Year in 2021.

Ms. Siragusa is an ETIP Scholar and completed Mesquite ISD’s Aspiring Assistant Principal program. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University–Commerce.

Congratulations to our 26-27 Morning Announcements Team! These students will be welcoming the campus every day next year. We’re so excited for the energy they’ll bring!

Galloway Gators are on the move!

From September 8th through April 15th, our students logged miles and helped Galloway earn 2nd Place in the district for Feet Across Mesquite!

A special congratulations to our Top 10 finishers

🏅 Christian Avila – 8th Place with 44 miles
🏅 Miguel Avila – 9th Place
with 42 miles

Closing out the year with a lunch for our announcement crew. These kids have started each day bright and early being the face and voice of Galloway! Thank yall so much for your hard work and dedication. We will miss each of you so much, but we know GREAT things are in your future!

📣Staff shout out alert!📣 Check out this week's staff shout outs. We have Ms. Sanz, who is one of our veteran and awesome 4th grade teachers, Mrs. Rodriguez who is one of our outstanding paraprofessionals that helps all students, Ms. Chandler is who is one of our great MTA teachers helping our students read, Ms. Nora who is one of sweet cafeteria ladies that makes sure our kids are happy and fed, and Ms. Chamberlain one of our great 3rd grade teachers who teaches our students math and science. More Play Day Fun!
