The Read Play Talk Summer Pop-Ups are back again this summer!

We’ll be making four stops around Mesquite and Balch Springs, and we can’t wait to see families there. At each pop-up, families can explore the Read Play Talk Bus, receive free books and giveaways, and visit inside the library to get a library card and check out books.

These events are a fun and easy way for families to read, play, and talk together all summer long. We hope to see you at one of our pop-ups — or even all four!

Come see us on Saturday at the City of Mesquite's Cinco de Mayo celebration! 🎉

A big thank you to the Mesquite Association of Retired School Employees (MARSE) for their generous donation of new books!

These books will make a meaningful impact as they are shared with families at community events and used to help stock Little Free Libraries across all Mesquite ISD elementary campuses.
