Porter Elementary

5th grade participated in their completion ceremony as they finished their last year of elementary school. They are now officially 6th graders! We would like to thank principal, Ms. Starnes, for being our guest speaker and sharing in the festivities. 🐾

How it started ➡️ How it ended. The 2nd grade team survived another school year powered by coffee, teamwork, and pure determination. 📚😎

Congratulations to these students who won a free bicycle for having perfect attendance all school year! We are so proud of you! Thank you to for your generous donation and support of our Porter community to help bring these new bicycles and big smiles to our students today. 🚲

Is this your dog? This dog wanted to join the fun during our awards ceremony this morning. He has a collar, but no tag or chip. We think he belongs to a family somewhere in the Porter neighborhood. Mesquite Animal Services has come to pick him up, and he is currently being housed at the Mesquite Animal Shelter. If this is your dog, or you have information as to who it might belong to, please notify the Mesquite Animal Shelter. 🐾🐶

☀️ Reminder: Thursday, May 28, is the last day of school and an early release day for all campuses! As we wrap up another great school year, please make plans for students to be picked up at their early release time.
