Scientific Studies Identify EPA Deficiency in Evaluating Safety of Toxic Chemical Interactions - Beyond Pesticides Daily News Blog 09/08/2025

A recent article by Beyond Pesticides highlights a significant gap in the EPA’s assessment of pesticide safety, particularly concerning the combined effects of toxic chemical interactions. This oversight makes clear the need to rethink how we evaluate and manage chemical risk in agriculture.

Precision technology gives farmers the tools to move away from broad, routine spraying and toward targeted applications based on real-time data. The result? Less chemical use, reduced exposure risks, and healthier soils and crops.

Glyphosate levels in local streams halve a year after ban 08/27/2025

A year after Guernsey banned amateur glyphosate use, glyphosate levels in local streams and reservoirs have dropped by nearly 50%. It’s a reminder that intentional choices can create measurable impact for our environment.

For farmers, this isn’t just about bans, it’s about moving away from the guesswork of the past. Knowing when, where, and what to spray makes all the difference. With precision technology, applications become targeted, efficient, and sustainable - protecting both yields and ecosystems.

At AgTechLogic, we’re focused on giving growers the tools to make these conscious, data-driven decisions. Because smart spraying doesn’t just save inputs, it creates healthier soils, cleaner water, and stronger harvests.

💭 Where do you see the biggest opportunity for more sustainable spray practices?

🚀✨ AgTechLogic is headed to space! ✨🚀

We’re thrilled to announce that AgTechLogic is part of the "Rhodium SpaceAg Veterans" mission, hitching a ride on SpaceX CRS-33 to the International Space Station on August 24, 2025 (2:45 am EDT).

This mission isn’t just about seeds in space - it’s about the future of farming. By studying how crop & w**d seeds respond in microgravity, we’re unlocking new insights that could fuel more resilient, sustainable, and profitable agriculture for Earth and for space.

Stay tuned as we follow the mission updates. If weather or conditions delay liftoff, NASA and SpaceX will follow their scrub/attempt sequence. Agriculture is entering a new frontier and AgTechLogic is on board!

Monarch butterflies’ mass die-off in 2024 caused by pesticide exposure – study 08/11/2025

A peer-reviewed study published via the Oxford Academic platform found that California’s 2024 monarch butterfly die-off was likely caused by pesticide exposure. On average, seven different pesticide residues were found per butterfly, many at potentially lethal levels. This is a stark reminder that overusing pesticides impacts far more than crops and soil, it disrupts entire ecosystems.

At AgTechLogic, we’re committed to sustainable tech that helps reverse this trend:

🌱 Precision pest control to minimize chemical inputs while maintaining crop protection
🌱 Data-driven insights that guide timing and dosage to avoid unnecessary applications
🌱 Support for biodiversity by integrating pollinator-friendly practices into farm management

By reducing pesticide overspray, especially during sensitive periods like migration and reproduction, we not only protect iconic species like monarchs, but also strengthen long-term recovery for pollinators and the agroecosystems we all rely on.

Local farmers push back against potential federal ban on widely-used w**d killer 08/04/2025

Outright bans on products like glyphosate aren’t realistic for our food system, but we all know changes must be made. The good news? Data-driven technology already exists to reduce overuse while keeping spraying efficient and effective—helping growers spray smarter, not more.

At AgTechLogic, we believe the path to sustainable agriculture starts with giving farmers better tools and the data to guide their decisions. Our AI-powered platform uses chlorophyll sensors, real-time mapping, and advanced analytics to provide actionable insights—helping growers reduce overuse and continue moving toward a more balanced, sustainable future.
